In Mark 10:46-52 Bartimaeus lived with the identity of a beggar and being blind. Everyone ignored him, and they tried to quiet him, but he kept calling on the ONE (Jesus) who did not look at his current state. When Jesus called him, Bartimaeus took off his garment (false identity) even before his identity changed. Jesus said, “Go, your faith has healed you”.

What to do:

1. Lay down your false perceptions.
2. Step out in faith knowing that Jesus has called you.
3. No matter how you may feel, do not go back and pick up that old garment. Follow Jesus.
